I own four Skagens and overall really like the look and feel of the watches. They are super light. This brown leather strap with white stiching is very classy and goes well with casual outfits.

I bought this watch 9 months ago and am very happy with it overall. I love the ultrathin factor and though I occasionally miss advanced watch functions this watch is so simple and elegant that I'm happy with my decision.
But...
Since the watch is so low-profile (which is wonderful) and the stem has a slightly harsh bevel, I noticed pretty quickly a little red spot where the stem dug into the back of my wrist. Within a few weeks I had a very small open sore there and had to periodically shift the watch around to let it heal. I loved the watch enough to live with it though, and a few weeks ago I solved the problem by taking a very fine file and rounding off the sharp edge on the stem. My fix isn't visible unless you hold the thing up at nose distance and the discomfort is gone.
No one else has mentioned this so maybe it's unique to me, but I thought I'd post this in case others have the same problem.

I really like watches, and have several in my collection including Movado and Raymond Weill. This watch is fast becoming my favorite.
The watch is incredibly slim and light. The brown leather strap with white stitching may tempt you to only wear it with casual clothes. You'll soon see that the elegant face design will work with suits as well. The face is a classic design, with easy to see arabic numerals. The face also features a separate sweep second hand. Amazon's price is a bargain. Sometimes, you get more than what you paid for!
Highly recommended.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loved it. It's great looking, not overwhelmingly large, with a slim profile and simple but classic.
However, after having it only a short while, he dropped it facedown on a vinyl floor, and the crystal cracked. The cost to repair the watch is too high in relation to the original cost. I don't believe I'd purchase another Skagen watch.

I only wear Skagen. They're classy, very very comfortable, and very reliable. This is a great price. When I buy them at the mall they cost significantly more. This isn't a watch for go play football in, but if you want a nice watch for work, or dress. Nothing is better. It feels like you don't have a watch on. My guy loved it, and he's the chunky kinda watch guy...
