Amazon.com Product Description Designed for today's active woman, the silver-tone Citizen Eco-Drive 180 World Watch for women offers a sleek, contemporary design. This mid-sized, stainless steel timepiece features a black dial that's accented by silver stylized hands and a mix of stick and Roman numeral dial markers. The silver stainless steel bracelet band features links that mix brushed and polished finishes, and it's joined by a push-button folding safety clasp. Other features include a date function at 3 o'clock, scratch resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet). This watch is powered by Citizen's unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. With regular exposure to light, the Eco-Drive continuously recharges itself for a lifetime of use. This watch's Eco-Drive provides a 178-day power reserve, and it can be recharged with just 2 hours of exposure to light. About Citizen One of the world's largest watch makers, the Citizen Watch Company was founded in 1924 in Japan from its beginnings as the Shokosha Watch Research Institute. The first watch released by the company was named "CITIZEN" and its name was selected so that it would be "close to the hearts of people everywhere." Today, Citizen is recognized as a worldwide leader in advanced timepiece technology, from the world's slimmest LCD watch to the first voice recognition watch to the world's first professional dive watch with an electronic depth sensor. Citizen was also the first to sell watches made with titanium in the world, which is not only light and durable but also non-allergenic (as stainless steel can be to some wearers). Most recently, Citizen has released watches powered by its Eco-Drive, which runs continuously in any kind of natural light or artificial light for a lifetime of use without changing a battery.

? January 6, 2009 T. Takekoshi (NY) I like the simple design & style. Exterior material looks solid and good. Only thing I can not tell you now is durability and functional reliability. I hope everything will work fine.
great deal!! December 27, 2008 A. Rogers I purchased this for myself while xmas shopping on amazon. I need a watch but mostly go without one because they are usually in my jewelry drawer with dead batteries! This watch has lovely styling, attractive bracelet and face. The price CANNOT be beat. I priced citizen ecodrive in the department stores and they ran around $200. Yeah- no battery!!
Nice looking watch for a good price November 18, 2008 G. Benzie (Boston, MA) As always, Amazon delivered. The watch was for my girlfriend and she loves it. She loved the fact that she will never have to put in a battery, just put it on and forget about it.
I love eco-drive September 20, 2008 B. Votta (L.I. NY) This is my second Citizen eco-drive watch. The first one being a gift in gold tone, gold-plate? Whatever. Since I'm too lazy to replace watch batteries, these watches are wonderful. I love this stainless steel watch. It's a bit weighty, perhaps a little masculine for a woman's watch, but easy to read and of course it "glows" in the dark. Needless to say; easy to set and forget! I don't really use the calendar, but it's there if you need it.
great watch September 19, 2008 Suzanne M. Boyd This is a great watch, I love it. I did have to take it to a jeweler to have links removed as we were afraid we might ruin it if we tried it at home.
