Other perks: the removable seat cover is washable, for those inevitable spit-ups and diaper leaks, and the activity center includes a snack tray for convenient playtime snacking. With its lovely pink, green, and lavender colors, this particular model is definitely geared towards girls. It certainly is cute and pretty -- but if you're not keen on "girly" stuff, or if you intend to use this activity center for a boy, Bright Starts also makes a unisex Bounce Bounce center in primary colors.  Likely contains PVC, phthalates and BPA December 29, 2008

Our 5 month old got this as a present and while we really wanted something like this I'm quite disappointed that Bright Starts refuses to provide any info on ingredients in the teether plastics (specifically BPA, PVC and phthalates). Most recently, they said their products originally listed as BPA and PVC free actually aren't. I looked up some ingredients on their toys (the very few that I could find on zrecsguide) and it seems quite likely that all the 'teether' parts of this toy do contain at least PVC and phthalates. I guess I will have to take all the 'teether parts off and attach my own. Sigh.
Also, I do agree with other reviewers - at 5.5 months our baby is extremely tall for her age however her feet can barely reach the 'bouncer' plate on the smallest setting.
Btw, if it wasnt for the ingredients, I think the teether toys it has are quite sufficient and very cute without being overwhelming to the baby.
I will not be buying any Bright Starts products until they start providing consistent info on the ingredients in their toys.

I purchased this for my 6 and a half month old grandson, who stays with me at least 4 days a week, while his mom works. She was dragging her own Exersaucer back and forth so that he would have something to sit in while he was here. He loved that little seat and I went on line to try and find one to keep here when I cam across the Bounce Bounce Baby Activity Zone. I was kind of nervous because it was half the price of some of the other seats but thought I would try it and I can honestly sat that I love it! My grandson loves it! It takes up much less space than his other seat and he is crazy about the keyboard and spinning toy. When I was reading some of the reviews from the people who were not all that pleased with it, I couldn't believe it...what do you expect for $39.99 and FREE shipping?? I think this is a great product and the price is amazing.

I don't know what I was thinking when I registered for this item. As a rule I try not to buy things based on their looks. All I can say for this item is it's pink. My daughter is only 5 months old. She's only been playing with it for 2 weeks. She's too little and I have a book on the platform under her feet. I'm really disapointed in this toy. Their are 5 stations or toys to play with. 1) The piano, plays the same very short tunes over and over in the same sequence regardless of which button you push, and this is the only thing that makes any noise on the whole thing. 2) The spinning frog and bead rattle, that's all it does. 3) The bead chaser, if you can call it that. It has 4 or 5 beads and about 2 inches of extra space. These beads don't chase each other anywhere. 4) The spring loaded bead bouncer is also too short to do anything, and I have a hard time believeing that a baby can work it. 5) The spining flower. This is actually kinda cute but mundane. Cute little flower with bitable teether petals and tiny beads inside a little spiral. The flower spins around and clicks.
It also comes with a plush butterfly with crinkle wings and chimes that hang from the bottom. This is supposed to attach to one of the toy bars with a tiny little velcro strap, but there's really no place to put it. There's a water filled teether, very nice. Both toy bars have loops on the bottom to hang toys from. One of which is the only other toy included which is a plush sun with a mirror on the back and crinkle sun rays. This is the only toy my daughter likes and it keeps falling off and then she's sad.
I wish there were more to play with and more to stimulate her. I wish there were more activities and more sounds and songs. All in all I am severely disapointed in this toy and how I wish that I could return it for a better one but it's too late. It's all put together and drooled on.
Bright Starts Exersaucer December 16, 2008

I bought this for my baby when she was about 3-4 months old. At first she was too small for it and I had to put a blanket in with her to help keep her steady.
This toy was very easy to assemble -- even to my sleep deprived brain. Bright Starts does an excellent job with their instruction manuals. They include graphics and the parts are organized in a manner that aids in assembly. It was almost fun to put together.
It was great for when my baby was beginning solid foods. Feeding was messy but the exersaucer is easy to clean with a damp cloth and a bit of soap. My baby seemed to always have good time in the exersaucer, but was always ecstatic to be removed. Guess nothing beats being held.
My daughter started walking a little before turning 9 months so as you can imagine, she no longer sits in this exersaucer. She never did figure out that she could bounce in it. Now she'll occasionally pass by it and press the buttons to make the music play or touch one of the other toys. The buttons on the piano were rather hard to push at first. I had trouble getting the music to play myself. They loosened up over time.
I'd like to point out that the pictures to the left of the product description are not of this particular exersaucer. There is no butterfly or daisy toy that comes with this model. Also, the pictures look pink and yellow. It's pink and green.

My friend and I purchased two of these, one boy and one girl one - and they are AMAZING. We just love it. It fits right in the back of my van (does not compact however) and is so light weight. The babies love it and that is all that matters but its also small so it doesnt take up a ton of room and its adorable. I DO recommend this product, even over the pricier ones I have had....
