Amazon.com Product Description A great choice for transporting lunches to school or provisions on your camping trip, this Sigg Maxi Aluminum Box is also handy for storing non-food items--from school supplies to fishing gear. Nicely lightweight but ruggedly durable, this box is made from handsome anodized aluminum and features a leak-proof rubber seal and snap locks for added security during transport. It measures 9 x 5.7 x 3 inches. It should not be used as a cooking container, and it is not suitable for dishawashers. About Sigg It all started with a simple hiker's bottle. Today, the SIGG bottle has acquired cult status. What happened is a success story that started in Biel, Switzerland in 1908. Küng, Sigg & Cie. manufactured leisure goods, kitchenware, and electrical appliances. The company relocated to Frauenfeld in 1916, where it helped pioneer the legendary tradition of Swiss quality. Since 1998, SIGG has concentrated on its core business: drinking bottles that deliver ultimate customer benefit.

Great boxes October 15, 2008 Ann M. Johnson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These Sigg boxes are great for travel and camping. They are durable and lightweight. We carry an asthma inhaler and meds in one while backpacking. I have 4 of these and don't regret the expense because they are so useful and well made.
Lunch box lasted through one school season and still going May 30, 2008 D. Smith (OKC, OK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Lasted an entire school season, and will use it next year, unless my son gets hungrier. A juice box/drink, one sandwich in a plastic tupperware case, one small chip bag, and some fruit fits in it with no room to spare. We enjoyed engraving a name on the flat bottom. Gets a little scratched, bent and dented but we just bend it back and it keeps going like those old aluminum canteens. No clip problems here, except little rubber pieces in each clip fell out the first week but aren't needed anyway. Most importantly, my son thinks it is cool.
best lunch box ever May 20, 2008 Jeffrey Mertens (los angles) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
these things are great I loved my sigg water botles and their lunch box is just as light and strong no more eating sandwiches crushed by a ton of gear in my pack. they also make a great bowl for your more liquidish grub
