4 out of 5 stars Pretty good concept   January 8, 2009
lost_little_fairy (Fishersville, VA United States)
Pretty good machine...I plopped on it for about five minutes and already could feel the burning. One important note for all those considering this machine: the reviews that claim the resistance springs don't provide enough resistance is true but IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE THAT WAY. It's actually on the directions for using it on the DVD provided--immediately they state that the less resistance from the springs during the workout is a harder workout. Which should make sense since you're suppose to use your abs to lower yourself and raise yourself--this product provides the minimal support with proper posture guide.

The one thing that kept me from giving this product a fifth star is that I did find it uncomfortable for my head and neck. I just added a small cheapo pillow to add to the level of comfort which was no biggie. It certainly does work your abs and it's not easy (again, it's not suppose to be). Overall, I'm feeling good.

1 out of 5 stars Waste of money (for me)   January 2, 2009

This product killed my back, I am 5'4 1/2 inches tall and it didn't seem to fit my height, even when adjusted. I used it for a few weeks but it was so painful on my lower and upper back. I gave it to my nephew.

5 out of 5 stars Not for tall people   December 23, 2008

I tried the Ab Rocket in a store's display.
I am 6'2" and the back rest is not long enough for tall people like me.
I think it is only about 36" long.
Nevertheless I think there is a huge market for taller people.
Please, let me know when an extended product is available.

I bought the ab rocket trainer to get ride of my stomach. Guess what?

It was hard to get used to it at first but
by only using it only 15 minutes a day not only I lost some weight around my stomach but I lost some weight around my waist as well.

This is an awsome product that REALLY REALLY WORKS!!!!!

So far,the concept is good.Supports upper back and neck well.Lower back is a little tender afterwards. But could be getting in shape stiffness. To soon to tell. Tori
